Registration of our annual ʻAha Lomilomi

November 10 - 12, 2023

will be open for

early registration starting July 20, 2023 at 7pm (HST)

The date for the online ʻAha Lomilomi will be announced asap.

We are happy to announce that this years ‘Aha Lomilomi will be in-person and virtual.

We have been wanting to get back to an in-person gathering and feel the timing is perfect and needed.

This years theme:

“A paʻa ke kahua, kūkulu no ma hope”

When the foundation is established then the building begins.

This ‘Ōlelo no’eau reminds us that we need to first set our Kahua (foundation) in all aspects of our life.

Our connection to ‘āina (land), to our ʻohana (family), to our community and to our hana (work/practice).

If these kahua are made pa’a (solid/established) we can confidently build upon any structure.

Ke pa’a pono kō kākou kumu mole, pēla e lau ai nā põmaika’i o kēia ola kanaka ‘ana

Our blessings flourish from a strong foundation.

Hoʻomanaʻo o ka ʻAha Lomilomi
Hearing the Kupuna sharing their wisdom
Every single part, speech and networking connection. Wonderful. Mahalo nui!
Of course, seeing all the faces and having an opportunity to gather in the airspace was priceless.
I do like that some parts were recorded and some live. It takes pressure of presenters especially when they can't be there in person. Still have some recordings even if we meet physically.
So wonderful to hear the 'ike of Kumu Haunani and Kumu Pomaika'i. Kumu Kahealani's demo - oh my soul! I could feel her hands on me. Kumu Jeana Naluai's presentation with the meditation was deeply moving. I am still taking the rocks out of my bowl.
